The SIMBA Web Simulator is a port of the SIMBA Power Electronics Simulation Software developed by AESIM.Tech.

At its heart, SIMBA is a circuit simulator. Like many other circuit simulators, SIMBA adopts a common user interface and layout of a Design and Library explorer on the left, showing all of the designs and models you have access to, a circuit editor in the center and a property panel on the right.

Add, move and connect models

• To add a model to a circuit, simply double-click on it in the Library explorer
• To move a model, simply drag and drop it. Moving devices keep connections. Rotation and flip options are available when a device is selected.
• To connect models, click on a pin and drag the mouse while holding the left mouse button to the destination.It is also possible to use the + button available when a connector is selected.

Scopes and Parameters

• To select a model, simply left-click on it.
• The Properties panel on the right-hand side lists the parameters and scopes of selected models. Model parameters can use metric units and mathematical expressions.

Pan and Zoom

• To move the current circuit view, hold down the ALT or Option key and click and hold to the destination.
• To zoom in or out, use the buttons in the upper right corner of the design view or hold down the ALT or Option key while scrolling with the mouse wheel.

Run Simulation

• Use the setting button to set simulation parameters.
• Click the play button to start a simulation. If the simulation is successful, the new scopes will be added to the scopes list, otherwise check the error messages in the console.
